Wibit adds new product line to enhance safety at its modular water parks
January 22, 2024

Leading provider of floating modular aquatic play installations, Wibit Sports, has added a new product line to its catalogue, Wibit WatchLine, a haven for lifeguards offering a comprehensive, unobstructed view of the entire facility.

Delivering enhanced safety supervision, WatchLine creates a comfortable haven for lifeguards while also shielding them the sun's rays.

The new line offers four different and adaptable products to complement existing parks in the best way possible. The modularity allows each product to be individually adapted to location.

Among the four products are the WatchRaft and the WatchAround.

The WatchRaft is designed to take safety standards to an unprecedented level. This rest area with an integrated bench becomes the focal point for safety within your park. The strategic placement of this flexible standalone product is up to you – outside the park or as a central safety hub in the heart of your park.

The WatchAround is the perfect complement for one of Wibit’s most popular products – the Roundabout. As an attachment for the Roundabout, it offers simple and quick installation thanks to the newly developed connection system. No complicated fastening points, no time-consuming assembly. With just a few simple steps you can attach the WatchAround to your Roundabout and offer your visitors safe, enjoyable adventures. Due to the clever design, the flow is not affected in any way and you can use the Roundabout as before without restrictions.

All products are TÜV certified and have received the safety award according to EN ISO 25649. Thus, this product line also follows the usual Wibit standard – with more than 250 patents, the Wibit research and development teams have designed the safest floating products in the world!

Wibit have a clear mission:  To combine fun and safety and note “as important as fun is – nothing is more valuable than the safety of our visitors."

A glimpse into the company's history shows that Wibit has always exceeded the industry's most demanding safety requirements and standards and has been involved in their development.

As longtime vice-chairman of the EU Committee for Inflatable Products, Wibit Chief Executive, Romann Rademacher, actively introduced safety regulations that are globally applicable for floating water sports products. For more than 15 years, he has continuously participated in various ISO groups to improve the safety of inflatable products on the water, in order to continue to ensure the highest standards for the entire industry.

Wibit WatchLine offers the following:

PANORAMIC VIEW
The elevated position of Wibit’s safety products provides a 360-degree view of the entire park, allowing the lifeguard to identify potential hazards early and respond appropriately. This helps ensure a safe and secure environment for visitors. The improved visibility from an elevated position also enhances effective coordination and communication between personnel, reducing incident response times and contributing to the smooth operation of the park.

COLOURATION
The colour design in the international signal colours, red and yellow, stands out strikingly from the park and offers an established recognition value. In addition, this colour concept fits ideally into the Wibit world  and harmonises perfectly with the park.

SHADOW FUNCTION
The shade of the visor effectively reduces the sun's rays and provides a comfortable environment for the lifeguards to perform their duties. The ability to retreat in the shade has a positive impact on the efficiency and productivity of safety personnel, allowing them to remain alert and attentive.

ANTI SLIP-MATERIAL
The yellow bottom surface  has been specially designed  to give the lifeguard additional  safety. This revolutionary anti-slip technology ensures a firm grip for the guard.

COMFORT
Each visor has two suspension options to which the lifeguards can attach equipment such as backpacks or rescue buoys. In addition, the possibility of leaning creates a comfortable working atmosphere.

HANDLING
The design allows uncomplicated and rapid assembly and disassembly of Wibit’s safety products. This easy handling also ensures a quick release of air in case of sudden weather changes.

INDIVIDUALITY
Every safety product can be used individually and variably in a Wibit park. Wibit specialise in providing solutions that not only meet the highest safety standards,  but can also be seamlessly integrated into the existing environment and conditions of locations.
