Virgin Active to launch new loyalty program for members
Aiming to enhance its members' experience, retention and engagement, Virgin Active has chosen South African-based company Comarch as its new loyalty solution provider.
Looking to make a healthy lifestyle more straightforward and accessible for its members, the move follows the group launching its new Virgin Active App and Virgin Active Rewards program, offering access to a one-stop shop for class bookings, expert advice, and online workouts.
Within the App, the Comarch Loyalty Management platform is a fully integrated rewards program. Introducing the program, Virgin Active Group Chief Executive, Dean Kowarski advised “we built the new app with our members' experience in mind, focusing on how we can further immerse and assist them on their wellness journey.
“We recognise that people rely on digital platforms for fitness advice, and our goal with the app has been to bring the digital and physical worlds together to foster and grow our relationship with our members.”
As a global provider with more than 30 years of industry experience, Comarch provided an efficient and highly-engaging loyalty program.
Comarch Sales Director, Jakub Socha explained “the company is happy to partner with such a large-scale, health-focused enterprise and has a good idea of how to strengthen its digital presence.
“I am extremely proud that Virgin Active not only chose our loyalty solution but also decided to host it in one of our data centre.
“The close collaboration between the two teams is ongoing, and I am excited about what lies ahead and the value we will provide to Virgin Active Rewards members.”
From its administrative base in South Africa Virgin Active operates more than 230 clubs in eight countries including Australia, Italy, Singapore, Thailand and the United Kingdom.
