TTNE launches World Sauna Award

TTNE launches World Sauna Award
March 9, 2024

TTNE, a sauna creative team based in Japan, has launched the World Sauna Awards.

'Totonou' (pronounced to-to-noh-u), which also became the origin of 'TTNE', represents the new form of Japanese sauna.

Japan has a long history of bathing culture, and the existence of high-temperature sauna and cold water bathing comes from there.

By combining Japan’s unique bathing and sauna culture with European sauna culture, a new form of sauna has originated in Japan.

TTNE, led by Dai Matsuo (aka Totonoe Oyakata) and Daisuke Akiyama (aka Sauna Shisho), is a sauna creative team which continues to innovate through sauna and aims to expand its activities worldwide.

TTNE has been selected as the ‘Premium Sauna Partner’ by Harvia, one of the world’s top sauna brands. They continue to contribute to sauna culture as a ‘Harvia global ambassador’ by sharing new trends and designing even better sauna experiences worldwide.

TTNE shares “We hope that our passion and actions lead to the improvement of sauna culture around the world, and also the future where people can be happier and healthier through saunas.”
