Ticketek agrees partnership with Football Association of Singapore
Ticketek has announced that it is now partnering with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) to provide the national football body with ticketing, technology, data, and insight solutions.
As part of the deal, Ticketek will become the exclusive ticketing provider for all football matches hosted by the FAS.
With the new ticketing system in place, fans can choose their preferred ticket delivery method including accessing their tickets digitally through the Ticketek App, thereby creating convenience and ease of access to their favourite football matches.
With this partnership, Ticketek will now handle all ticketing for games played by Singapore’s Men’s, Women’s, and Youth National football teams, as well as for the Young Lions in the Singapore Premier League (SPL).
Announcing the partnership, Geoff Jones, Chief Executive of Ticketek owner the TEG Group, stated “we are delighted to embark on this new Partnership with the Football Association of Singapore.
“This Partnership was born out of TEG’s previous successes in the region promoting top tier sporting team including Liverpool FC, FC Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur, and the Lion City Sailors as part of 2023’s Singapore Festival of Football.
“This Partnership is further evidence of TEG’s ambition to support the game’s growth at all levels and become the largest Promoter of International football in Singapore.”
TEG Asia General Manager, Timothy Ho added “we are incredibly proud to prtner with the Football Association of Singapore to provide football fans with our first-class ticketing experience.
“This dynamic partnership will give fans access to Ticketek’s user friendly interfaces, mobile access, and a range of ticket delivery options. Attendees can now expect a hassle-free booking process that ensures they never miss their favourite games.”
FAS General Secretary, Yazeen Buhari went on to say “we are delighted to partner with a global ticketing provider in Ticketek, and through this partnership, provide Singapore football fans with a seamless ticketing experience.
“We will also be able to leverage Ticketek’s active dataset of football fans across Southeast Asia and their leading-edge mobile technologies including fan-to-fan ticket sharing.
“We are confident that this partnership will help us create a great match experience for our fans as they make new memories in stadiums across the country.”
The Partnership commences with the FIFA World Cup qualifier between the Lions and China on 21st March 2024 at the Singapore National Stadium.
Fans can now register for tickets to the Group C fixture via the waitlist and receive pre-sale access to the first game the Lions will play under Head Coach Tsutomu Ogura.
