Technogym links with Tennis Australia as Australian Open fitness equipment sponsor

Tennis Australia has announced a sponsorship agreement with Technogym for the 2024 Australian Open.

The partnership sees Technogym become the ‘Official Technical Fitness Equipment Supplier’ for the tournament and has seen the company install three on-site player gyms at different locations across the Australian Open’s Melbourne Park campus - AO Match Gym at Rod Laver Arena, the AO Base Gym in MCA and the gym at the National Tennis Centre (NTC).

The equipment at the NTC Gym will be available for year-round use and includes Technogym’s latest product, the BIO REV leg press, which is the first of its kind to be used in the Asia Pacific region.

Commenting on the partnership, Tennis Australia Chief Commercial Officer, Cedric Cornelis stated “we are very excited to partner with Technogym which is recognised globally for its commitment to innovation in fitness equipment and technology.”

“Technogym prides itself on being dedicated to optimising athletic performance and supports many of the world’s biggest sport events, making it a fantastic partner for the Australian Open. We’re confident that Technogym’s equipment will support players in their training and help them prepare to their full potential.”

Technogym also supplies fitness equipment for former World No. 1’s Rafael Nadal and Victoria Azarenka as well as being the Official Supplier of nine Olympic Games including the upcoming Paris 2024 edition.

Technogym opens Philippines showroom
Technogym has also opened a new ‘Wellness Lifestyle’ showroom in the Philippines capital of Manila.

Located at Twenty-Five Seven Mckinley Building 25th Street, in the heart of the city, the space spreads across over 160 metre², has been designed to offer a real wellness lifestyle experience to consumers and allow people to discover the best products, technologies and services for physical exercise at home.

The store also offers access to experienced personal trainers and interior designers for bespoke home-gym projects and personalised consultations.
