Spa Vision launch range of sanitation products to support spa industry reopening
Leading global spa consultants, Spa Vision, have unveiled a range of medical grade hygiene and sanitation products to assist operators in their preparation for reopening.
With a firm commitment to supporting the highest levels of hygiene, Spa Vision have identified key products offering practical and cost-effective solutions.
One such product is the Fitted Treatment Table Cover offered by US based partner Oakworks, which is manufactured using medical grade upholstery. One of the key benefits of these high quality, certified covers is that they are tested to global health standards; including ISO 10993 Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices, and have also passed vital tests for Cytotoxicity, Skin Irritation and Sensitisation.
These waterproof and machine washable (at 60⁰C) fitted covers can be supplied to fit most treatment tables. They are an especially useful and cost-effective solution where older tables may have cracked or worn upholstery that may harbour harmful bacteria. This is also an ideal time to check face rests and bolsters and replace if necessary.
Commenting on the current climate and their considered response, Spa Vision Director, Colin Cameron noted “during these unprecedented times, we recognise the need to be agile, but also delivering practical, value-adding solutions, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of our clients and partners.
“With our wonderful industry preparing to re-open, the key words on everyone’s lips seem to be hygiene and sanitisation. In an industry where this has always been fundamental, there is now even greater focus to ensure customers are confident in the hygiene and cleanliness of the amazing facilities we have to offer as an industry.”
In addition, Spa Vision are also offering alcohol free disinfectant and sanitisers, masks and visors alongside screens and sterilisers.
Spa Vision, which operates globally from offices in the UK and Australia, supplies, procures and consults for the spa, health, beauty and wellness industries. Internationally the business works with a broad spectrum of clients including hotel spas, destination spas, wellness centres, day spas, medi spas, salons, luxury yachts, independent therapists and residential homes.
