Original Fitness Co expands into Dubai
Bootcamp pioneer Corey Oliver is a man on a mission to get Dubai into shape.
Oliver, Managing Director of fitness solutions firm Original Fitness Co (OFC), is a former Australian Ocean Ironman athlete and 2009 Rugby 7s World Cup Representative.
His OFC team of fitness trainers have set themselves the task of getting Dubai fit and healthy by offering holistic and innovative fitness programs.
Having established Physical Advantage in Dubai three years ago and being the Pioneer behind the first ever Bootcamp program held in Dubai in which he has built a reputation as the UAE's very own Bootcamp guru.
OFC has set itself the goal of getting the people of Dubai moving and that also includes the Emirati population. OFC will look at developing programs for people who are suffering from obesity, metabolic syndrome or diabetes.
The Wonder Woman Fitness (women only), Phys Ed (childrens) a Martial arts based series of programs such as Punch, Kick and MMA Fitness, Corporate Fitness, Running Fitness, Ocean Fitness, Boot Camp Fitness and Personal Fitness Training began in Dubai on 2nd December.
Oliver explained "we want to give our clients some different, exciting and innovative ways of exercising that they haven't previously experienced before in Dubai.
"We have created Boot Camp Fitness - a mix between a Bootcamp and a fitness training session which is a four week course of three sessions per week.
"The first session is a testing session. At the end of the four weeks we test the people involved on that exact same test. It's hard evidence so we can see how they have improved throughout that month. During that course we obviously gear a lot of our training to having those people improve."
OFC was launched in Abu Dhabi six months ago, and due to the success of the company, it will be expanding into Dubai. OFC is currently operating in association with the Emirates Towers Hotel and Shoreside, Dubai's newest exclusive beach next to The Dubai Ladies Club in Jumeira. OFC also has also engaged in an affiliation with one of the leading global sportlifestyle brands, PUMA.
Oliver added "we are providing people with focus and support for their health and fitness. Our solutions include a nutritionist; body composition assessment testing, raw food supplements and we also have a GP here that we affiliate ourselves with, as well as a physiotherapist and chiropractor. We are a one-stop-shop for the consumer. Initially we teach them discipline and they really do get a lot out of it - it not only builds their confidence but their stamina as well. We also educate on what to eat, how to warm up, cool down and stretch and how much water they should drink whilst exercising."
