The upcoming GTI Asia China Expo is to include a new exhibitor zone for virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) products.

Introducing the Expo’s new zone, a GTI Asia China Expo spokesperson stated “with the arrival of 5G, artificial intelligence will energise VR/AR equipment and enrich AR content of phones, while new opportunities for the VR industry are also emerging.

“The International Data Corporation (IDC) predicts that the number of VR devices in the world will reach 78 million by 2021, while in China, the VR market value in 2019 will reach US$3.3 billion and the growth rate of AR and VR will reach 86.9%. of the population.”

Being held in Area A in the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou complex in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou from 10th to 12th September, GTI Asia China Expo’s VR/AR zone aims to provide an excellent platform for related companies worldwide with leading products, new technologies and new business models to be unveiled at the Expo, allowing cutting-edge technology to be integrated into entertainment life, exposing the most entertaining cutting-edge technologies, providing exhibitors a commercial value and socially influential platform.

The GTI Asia China Expo spokesperson added “global buyers, industry insiders and media workers can enjoy the endless fun of these high-tech products at the Expo and see the new trends and future technological development.”
