Evolt and EGYM partner to enhance fitness performance
April 3, 2024

Advanced body composition analytics pioneer, Evolt, has partnered with digital fitness solutions company, EGYM - representing a pivotal shift within the industry as individuals increasingly adopt a holistic approach to health.

The collaboration, announced recently at IHRSA in Los Angeles, merges EGYM’s fitness equipment and digital platform with Evolt’s advanced composition analysis technology, offering gym members comprehensive insights into their health and fitness.

Through seamless integration with the EGYM platform, users will gain direct access to Evolt’s body composition analysis, empowering them to monitor progress, establish personalised goals, and make well-informed decisions regarding their fitness and nutrition strategies.

Key features of the integration include:

  • Real-time tracking of body composition metrics, encompassing body fat percentage, muscle mass, hydration levels and more.
  • Fusion of Evolt data with EGYM's workout tracking and progress monitoring tools.
  • Tailored recommendations and insights based on individual fitness objectives and body composition data.

Evolt’s bioelectrical impedance technology delivers a comprehensive body composition assessment in just 60 seconds, covering muscle mass, fat mass, visceral fat, and subcutaneous fat across 40 different measurements. This enables individuals to set benchmarks for healthy weight management and wellness, while aiding trainers in crafting more targeted, personalised programs for clients and class participants.

Co-founder and Chief Executive of Evolt Ed Zouroudis said the EGYM partnership marked a milestone in data-driven fitness journeys.

Zouroudis shared “this collaboration represents a significant stride towards integrating technology into the fitness landscape. By synergizing our expertise with EGYM's robust platform, we offer users a comprehensive solution to optimise their health and fitness outcomes.”

EGYM Chief Executive Philipp Roesch-Schlanderer said the partnership with Evolt ideally complements EGYM's open approach and added "EGYM's digital ecosystem is open to products from other manufacturers, with whom we collaborate for the benefit of our customers.

“Evolt's state-of-the-art technology aligns perfectly with our open platform approach and further boosts the accuracy of our popular EGYM BioAge, a sophisticated fitness and health indicator."

The Evolt and EGYM integration will be progressively implemented across select gyms and facilities around the globe over the coming months, with plans for nationwide deployment within this financial year.

Both companies will showcase the integration at FIBO, a premier global fitness expo and conference in Cologne, Germany, taking place from 11th to 14th April.

With global headquarters in Burleigh, Australia and with a presence in 43 countries and a user base nearing two million registered users, Evolt continues to expand its global reach. The company serves an array of enterprise customers, including the world's largest gym chains and corporate giants like health insurer HCF. The company also has established partnerships with leading international medical universities and allied health professionals.
