Pico Play is looking for a talented and passionate designer to join its' Malaysian team with the possibility of working on themed attractions and entertainment all over the world.
Description of the role
We are looking for a talented and innovative architectural technical designer with fundamental skills in theme park architectural design and construction detailing, CAD drafting, sketchup modelling, photoshop colouring, and PPT presentation skills. Rhino 3D modelling and Architectural illustration highly beneficial. Ideally should be able to translate concept presentations into schematic and detailed design drawings, carrying on the intended design ideas into the details of the drawings. This will be followed by construction detailing to execute the design into reality. Candidates would work with various team members including Design Managers, Creative Directors, and Contruction Managers to translate the initial concept into functional construction drawings.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Architectural fields, with experience in working in a theme park design team environment.
- High level of fluency with AutoCAD, PowerPoint and SketchUp is a must, Rhino or other 3d modelling skills are beneficial.
- Proven experience in multiple phases of theme park architectural design process, including quick sketching of ideas, high-quality drafting, 3d SketchUp modelling, design development and construction detailing
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and illustrative)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
