Vietnam’s Danang summer festival includes high octane performance by Australia’s H20 Events company

Danang, the vibrant seafront city which attracts millions of visitors to Vietnam’s central coast, is preparing for a sensational summer with an adrenaline-fueled Jetski & Flyboard Show from Australian and International water based events company, H2O, among the offerings.

H2O has been directing, creating and producing water ski shows for more than 25 years. Jack Ellison and his team of international performers offer turnkey choreographed shows for Conferences Product launches; Theme park installations; Film & Television industry; Live interactive productions; and Corporate and special events.

The shows come as a complete package tailored for any needs or themes within Australia or at any requested International location.

For Danang’s Asia Park, which is positioned in the heart of the city, H20 are delivering a dramatic Jetski & Flyboard Show on the outdoor aquatic stage every day from 5pm to 9pm, recreating scenes from blockbuster movie franchises like James Bond and Mission Impossible. This adrenaline-fueled, action-packed performance is sure to amaze local and international visitors alike. Running every evening from early June, this exhilarating show will add to the drama and excitement of the fireworks festival.

Danang International Fireworks Festival also returns in 2024 to light up the sky from 8th June to 13th July.

DIFF 2024 is a dramatic five-week extravaganza that will captivate spectators and spread a message of peace and unity to visitors from all around the world. With five consecutive weekends of fantastic firework shows all set against the backdrop of the Han River and the landmark Novotel Danang Premier Han River, this is a truly unmissable occasion.

Guests will be wowed by teams from eight countries – France, Italy, USA, Germany, Poland, China, Finland and Vietnam – all competing under the overall theme, “Made in Unity”, which conveys a message of peace, friendship and humanity, celebrating values that inspire communities. Every team will have 20 minutes of fireworks displays on each night of the festival, under distinct themes such as “Made of Unique Culture”, “Made of Nature Wisdom”, “Made of Love Inspiration”, “Made of Fairytales” and “Made of Young Generation”.

Danang is the only place in Vietnam to host an annual fireworks festival. First staged in 2008, DIFF has established Danang’s reputation as the “Fireworks Festival City” and a top destination in Central Vietnam and Asia. Every year, this spectacular festival attracts more than one million tourists and generates millions of dollars in revenue for the city’s tourism industry.

The opening ceremony and grand finale are both being broadcast live on Vietnamese TV, with total prize money of US$35,000 being awarded.

Sun World Ba Na Hills is an enchanting leisure destination that captivates visitors with its landmarks and exhilarating rides. Perched almost 1,500 metres above sea-level, this is a “heaven on Earth” that feels blessed with a cool climate and endless vistas. Golden Bridge, which appears to be gently held aloft by two giant hands, is an unmissable photo spot, and the amusement park provides plenty of thrills.

A series of exciting new events and activities this summer include The Stellar Show – a special musical circus show featuring stars from all over the world that will be performed in Vietnam for the very first time!

Maestro Voronin, who has been dubbed “the David Copperfield of comedy magician” has been already in Vietnam to delight local and international visitors with his spectacular shows, which blend incredible skills with awe-inspiring illusions. He will be joined by his talented son - Maxim Voronin, the world’s youngest circus director who captivates audiences with his magic tricks and circus acts.

Also thrilling spectators at Sun World Ba Na Hills will be Anastasia Popsulis, Europe’s leading female variety act who has performed her incredible, gravity-defying acrobatic routines for world leaders, top celebrities and billionaires, and Lena Koehn, the international diabolo performer and star of Cirque du Soleil who has travelled the globe with her innovative act which blends graceful movement and musicality.

Visitors can embrace Vietnam’s cultural heritage with a classical water puppet show at Sun World Ba Na Hills

Sun World Ba Na Hills will also delight nature lovers this summer with the Fairy Blossom Show. This unique, multi-sensory show will feature 300 actors and international artists, including acts being performed for the first time in Vietnam, in an exquisite fairytale set against the backdrop of a magical secret garden. The show is directed by Tuan Le, the mastermind behind many of Vietnam’s most beloved circus shows, including A O Show and Lang Toi.

These world-class events are expected to contribute significantly to Danang’s tourism revenues, further securing the city’s position as “Asia's Leading Festival & Event Destination,” as recognized by the World Travel Awards on two occasions.
