Qatar’s first indoor theme park opens in Doha
Qatar’s first-ever indoor theme park, Quest, has opened with more than 30 rides and attractions at the mixed-use Doha Oasis development.
Operated by MR-ProFun, the 32,000 metre² indoor theme park offers thrill rides, media-controlled simulators, virtual reality (VR) experiences and family-friendly offerings.
Signature rides at the indoor park include EpiQ Coaster, the world’s tallest indoor roller coaster, and Magma Blast, the world’s tallest indoor drop tower ride.
Additional rides comprise a 3D flying theatre attraction called Wings of Destiny, a mini drop tower titled Jumpin’ Star, a spinning swing ride known as Gravity Swing, and a family thrill ride called Time Travel.
VR attractions include VR Fun Station and VR Fun Racer, while experiences incorporate Climb Quest and a 3D motion simulator known as Legend of the Golden Oryx.
The attraction is separated into three different time dimensions, which are Oryxville, City of Imagination and Gravity. F&B outlets include Planet Hollywood Doha, Sarab Kiosk, Space Cantina and Quest Cafe.
Located in the Msheireb Downtown, the Doha Oasis retail and entertainment mixed-use development includes a Banyan Tree hotel, Banyan Tree residential suites, and the cutting-edge VOX Cinemas Qatar.
Also launching in Doha is the Qetaifan Island North (QIN) destination, an innovative entertainment destination with a state-of-the-art water park and luxury hotels.
The award-winning Qetaifan Island North will begin a phased opening from September 2021 and will be fully inaugurated at the FIFA World Cup 2022.
