Following the success of its duathlon event last July, the Philippine’s New Clark City Sports Hub is anticipated to see 700 triathletes participate in the full triathlon event to be held on 25th September -marking its return after a three-year wait amid COVID.

The New Clark City (NCC) Sports Complex looks to further build its portfolio as the country's new triathlon hub in hosting this full triathlon event in partnership with Robinson's Land Corporation (RLC) Residences.

The NCC Sports Hub (initially known as the Philippine Sports City or Philippine Olympic City) is a complex of sports facilities located inside the National Government Administrative Centre of New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac which opened in 2019.

The New Clark City Athletics Stadium is the primary venue of the NCC Sports Hub.

"The RLC Residences New Clark City Triathlon is our seventh race this year since the government allowed us to hold events last April. We are grateful to be able to organise events that cater to people that exhibit an active lifestyle," advised Jumbo Tayag, the race director for GoClark Sports and Events, the main organiser of the event.

The event will see participants first swim 900 meters or 18 full lengths of the swimming pool inside the NCC Aquatics Centre before biking for 50 kilometers back and forth from Angeles via the NCC-Clark International Airport Access Road.

The triathlon will culminate with a 12-kilometer run around the NCC Athletics Stadium before running back to the finish line at the Aquatics Centre.

Ahead of the main event, an age group aquathlon event will take place on 24th September also at the NCC, while a half-distance triathlon race is also set for 25th September as well as a three-man relay event.
