September 3, 2022

On-going COVID outbreaks in China has seen Asia’s largest and leading international design event series - Design Shanghai – postpone its much anticipated global show to June 2023.

Due to take place on 13th – 15th October 2022 the show has now been rescheduled to take place on 8th – 11th June 2023 which will coincide with the 10 year anniversary of Design Shanghai and is set to be a monumental event.

With safety being a top priority for exhibitors, visitors and the design community, the decision to postpone was made in response to the continuing uncertainty and challenges to events during the on-going COVID outbreaks in China.

Next year, Design Shanghai will return to the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre and to mark the 10 year milestone the show will see a major expansion including additional features and attractions.

Design Shanghai showcases more than 500 international brands from 30 countries and regions. It is a stage where the global design community can unite, converse and present solutions about today’s cultural topics and challenges surrounding design, architecture and technology. Design Shanghai 2023 is set to be the strongest event in the show’s history.
