New Melbourne Marriott hotel to feature Australasia’s first M Club

Marriott hotels have announced that its M Club executive lounge concept will feature at the soon to open Melbourne Marriott Docklands.

The first M Club lounge to feature at a Marriott property in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region, the exclusive lounge, which serves as a retreat for Platinum and Titanium Marriott Bonvoy and executive floor guests, is open 24/7 and features a range of dining options, lounges and private spaces for guests to socialise, relax or conduct business.

Guests staying in M Club rooms can also gain access to the lounge as part of their reservation.

M Clubs offer guests access to a residential dining room and interactive kitchens with live cooking demonstrations each morning and evening. Regularly rotated breakfast and light snack items are brought out intermittently, with premium beverages and canapes offered by evening. A library also offers a space for guests to read or relax.

M Club will offer live cooking and a rotating selection of snacks and small meals.

M Club Melbourne Docklands will also include an al fresco terrace for guests to enjoy some fresh air and panoramic views over the Melbourne skyline.

Set to open in June, the 189-room Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands is the first newbuild Marriott in more than 20 years.

Advising that he opening of the first M Club in this region is a huge milestone for the company, Marriott International Area Vice President Australia, New Zealand and Pacific, Sean Hunt stated “we consistently strive to be leaders in the industry and take great pleasure in sharing the new standard of Marriott Hotels for the future.

“As we return to travel, we are committed to providing our guests with flexible and elevated experiences to suit individual lifestyles.”

The M Club has been steadily growing across the Marriott portfolio, with six in operation across Asia, 12 in Europe and 82 in the company’s North American heartland.

Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands General Manager, Girish Talreja added “the M Club at Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands will provide a premium experience for guests to revive and refresh during their stay.

“This exclusive space rewards and indulges our valued members and executive floor guests and sets a new benchmark for hospitality in Australia and beyond.”

Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands also features a rooftop swimming pool and bar, restaurant, café and fitness centre with Technogym Excite Live - another first for Marriott in this region.
