New attractions, entertainment and hospitality offerings among Dubai Global Village’s 29th edition

Dubai’s Global Village, the region’s popular outdoor destination, has opened its 29th edition offering new attractions, pavilions, upgraded markets, and an all-new dining plaza.
Season 29 offers many new highlights at 30 different pavilions representing more than 90 cultures from around the world. New Cultural Pavilions include those for Jordan, Iraq, and a combined pavilion for Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, showcasing their cultures, traditions, and culinary delights.
There are 3,500 shopping outlets with more than 250 dining experiences.
In addition to the park, there is the Carnaval zone, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! and Snowfest Ice Rink with the Carnaval zone offering more than 200 skill games, rides, attractions, and adventures.
Rides and attractions include fan favourites like Neon Galaxy X and House of Fear, plus new attractions like Secrets of the Lost City, a new treasure hunt and mystery solving attraction designed for guests aged 10 and above.
Over 40,000 cultural shows and entertainment events will be performed throughout the season including stunt shows, concerts, and family-friendly acts, plus a 3D projection inside the exit dome of the Gate of the World and dragon performances at Dragon Lake, with a magnificent new dragon that is twice the size of last year’s.
Among the shows is Merry-Go-Round - a mesmerising circus show centred around a stunning carousel. Traditional acts like jugglers, acrobats, fire breathers, unicyclists, penny farthing riders, and strongmen will leave you breathless. Each performer is a remarkable spectacle in this dynamic, vibrant, and high-energy carousel of circus artistry.
A new restaurant dining area has been added into the Carnaval area called the Restaurant Plaza and consists of 11 restaurants. Each restaurant is made of two floors, with a main stage in the centre of the restaurants area for guests to enjoy the shows and performances with a view of the park.
Global Village popular experiences, Floating market, Railway market and Fiesta Street, have been completely revamped to provide guests with diverse global cuisines in scenic settings.
Spacious green promenades with extended seating provide relaxing spaces for families to enjoy the lively atmosphere.
A stunning fireworks display is held at 9pm every Friday and Saturday.
