Jordan’s King Abdullah II has directed the government to build a new international football stadium to serve the Kingdom's sports and youth sector.

The King also instructed the development of sports facilities at the Hussein Youth City, the first sports city in Jordan, along with continued improvements to other sports facilities in the capital and across the governorates.

The directive reflects His Majesty’s ongoing support for sports and youth and his recognition of the achievements of Jordanian athletes.
