Funlab launches virtual ‘apart-y’ experiences across its brands
July 10, 2020

Entertainment and hospitality provider Funlab has launched a new ‘Virtual Apart-ys’ platform - available through its Holey Moley, Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq, B. Lucky & Sons and Strike Bowling brands.

Introducing the new bespoke virtual ‘apart-y’ experiences, tailored for the work-from-home corporate function market, Funlab Chief Executive, Michael Schrieber advised “while Funlab is immensely excited to return to deliver some of Australia’s favourite in-venue corporate experiences and events with easing COVID-19 restrictions, we think the addition of our Virtual Apart-ys provide a long-term solution for companies to allow colleagues to have fun together and stay connected in a new work-from-home environment.

“We think that just because some teams may need to remain safely socially-distanced, it definitely doesn’t mean that teams can’t engage in a little friendly competition, with more than bragging rights at stake in a COVID safe environment that’s hosted by the same legendary party hosts as our venues.”

The ‘apart-y’ experiences offer virtual escape rooms - two highly themed and interactive online escape rooms - and the online office championships - where groups of up to 100 compete for two hours in fun, competitive virtual games run by Funlab’s ‘Zoom Referees’.

Since launching, Funlab advise that feedback has been incredibly positive, advising that “in today’s work from home environment, the Virtual Apart-ys are a powerful team building experience delivering both tricky puzzle-solving and hilarity.”

Virtual Apart-ys experiences are now available to book online at this link, with more additions to the experiences to be revealed shortly, including live DJs, curated F&B experiences and bespoke corporate prizes and trophies.

Founded in 2002, Funlab is headquartered in Melbourne and has 44 venues across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore across seven brands.
