Lebanon’s premier health and fitness destination, Fitness Zone, has marked its first venture in the UAE with the opening of a location in Dubai at City Walk.

Occupying a space of just under 1000 square metres, Fitness Zone City Walk aims to transform Dubai’s fitness scene with its wide variety of classes and memberships tailored to suit individual fitness preferences and goals.

A similar array of equipment and classes as offered in its branches in Lebanon will be available at City Walk and will include yoga, spinning, Zumba and Les Mills cardio-based workouts. There is also a sauna and free underground parking for gym-users.

The Chairman of Fitness Zone is Antoine Rezkallah, is also Chairman and Chief Executive for more than 30 years of Retail Group Lebanon, one of the country’s largest franchise companies with over 15 Fashion Brands and 60 operating stores. Rezkallah is also founder of Vendome Ventures eatertainment, which launched 9 international F&B concepts in Beirut and the UAE including Buddha Bar Beirut, Bound, Azmi, Vapiano and Abdel Wahab.

As the first premium gym at City Walk, Fitness Zone offers convenience and accessibility to residents and visitors alike.

Lea Rezkallah from Fitness Zone (and also General Manager Fashion Break – a Beirut-based e-com fashion platform )enthused “we are thrilled to bring Fitness Zone’s super club to Dubai and offer the ultimate fitness experience to the city. Our goal is to inspire and empower each individual to attain their wellness aspirations and health goals, while providing them with a dynamic and inclusive fitness environment.”

The success of each of Fitness Zone’s clubs in Lebanon is a testament to its dedication to delivering excellence in fitness. With the launch of this new outpost in Dubai, the brand aims to continue its legacy of transforming lives through physical activity and overall well-being.

Fitness Zone first opened its doors in Hamra, Beirut, in 2010. The gym quickly gained popularity, leading to the launch of a second branch in Baabda, Mount Lebanon, just two years later. The expansion continued in 2014, with the opening of a new branch in Kaslik, Keserwan, to cater to fitness enthusiasts in the area.

In 2015, Fitness Zone recognised the potential of Beirut Souks, the bustling business hub of the city, and opened another branch in this prime location. The following year, the gym inaugurated two more branches in vibrant areas - Verdun and ABC Mall, Achrafieh, which are popular shopping destinations in Lebanon. The much-awaited Matn branch in Dbayeh was also opened by the end of 2017, and was shortly followed by the grand opening of the Manara branch in 2019.

With a dedicated team of over 300 employees and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, Fitness Zone is now focused on expanding its reach across Lebanon and the MENA region in the years to come.
