FIT Summit growth sees event expand in second year with new awards program
February 7, 2020

Following the success of its inaugural series of events last year, FIT Summit has entered 2020 with the expansion of its core Singapore event and the introduction of Fitness and Wellness Awards program for the Asia-Pacific region.

Being held from Tuesday 14th to Thursday 16th April at Singapore's Raffles City Convention Centre, the World Fitness and Wellness Summit and Exhibition (FIT Summit Singapore) will be Asia's major convention for the fitness, wellness and related health industry, presenting a platform for Asia's industry leaders to meet and promote greater connectivity, collaboration and investment across the sector.

Introducing the event, Ross Campbell, founder and Chief Executive of FIT Summit, explains "FIT Summit is the thought leadership and networking platform for Asia-Pacific’s fitness, wellness, corporate wellness and hospitality industries.

"Our network includes multinational gyms, franchisees, boutiques and start-ups, fitness apparel, equipment, nutrition and technology providers, hotels, spas, insurers, investment firms, consultancy groups, government bodies and corporate wellness."

The FIT Summit's umbrella will also include a Masterclass from Emma Barry on Tuesday 14th April; a roundtable on Empowering Women to Lead and Succeed, co-hosted with the Women in Fitness Association (WIFA), and led by Mel Tempest; and the Asia-Pacific Fitness and Wellness Awards.

Being held on the evening of Wednesday 15th April, the Awards of Excellence will recognise leading companies and executives from across the health, fitness, wellness and hospitality ecosystem in the Asia Pacific Region.

This year with 12 award categories, each award is given based on the companies’ achievements and successes during 2019, with winners to be announced in front of 400 guests at the Awards dinner and ceremony at the Raffles City Convention Centre.
