FIBO China set to be staged as hybrid event with world’s first post-COVID on-site fitness show
March 10, 2021

The organisers of FIBO China have announced that its upcoming 2021 convention will be held as a hybrid event - with the trade show at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre to be the first on-site fitness exhibition in more than a year.

The exhibition, running from 21st to 23rd March will be part of a larger hybrid convention that will continue until 31st March.

Occupying 60,000 metre² of exhibition space with more than 450 brands and providers displaying their services, organisers are aiming to attract more than 50,000 visitors in person and online.

Introducing the hybrid convention, organisers advised in a statement "the event will enable delegates to connect with more than 450 Chinese providers and brands, covering the whole fitness industry, including five aspects - fitness & health, facilities & services, nutritious food, sportswear and accessories, and beauty.

"The hybrid format will allow visitors to quickly search for exhibitor information, make an appointment for one-on-one meetings and arrange meetings before the show.

"There will also be an opportunity to browse a high-quality online display interface of brands and products in advance.

"We are establishing a highly effective communication platform for all professional visitors and exhibitors during and after the show."

FIBO China was not held in 2020, while Reed Exhibitions' main FIBO event in Germany, originally scheduled to run from 8th to 11th April 2021, and then postponed to take place from 24th to 27th June, is now scheduled to run in Cologne from 4th to 7th November.
