International recreational climbing operator Clip ‘n Climb has launched its new capsule Prima range adding to its fun climbing collection.

Prima offers a new option for existing multi-activity centres or climbing gyms looking to add new features, as well as small centres looking to maximise space.

The new capsule Prima range, available world-wide, allows customers to mix and match from nine combinations and five unique, geometric designs to complement existing surrounds. A retrofitted and thinner design (1.2 meters), in comparison to the more classic Clip ‘n Climb challenge range, makes it even easier to install for smaller, compact spaces.

Prima is easy to clean and includes articulated mats, access ropes, Trueblue auto belays, an optional top out button and is fully compliant with the standard practices of the USA and EN standards for climbing walls.

Founded in New Zealand in 2004, Clip ‘n Climb invented the indoor recreational climbing market and now has 300 facilities worldwide, with a dynamic expansion program to increase this to 1,000 by 2022.

Clip ‘n Climb’s theme park style climbing proposition offers anyone from four years old upwards the opportunity to take part in fun and interactive climbing challenges, no matter their experience or skill level.

The brand’s full range of products cultivates a Sportainment theme, a term coined by Clip ‘n Climb to fuse sport with entertainment. The range includes climbing challenges, Head Rush auto belays and the BelayMate mechanism, trampolines, ninja courses and interactive climbing walls.

Clip ‘n Climb Product Manager, Tiphaine Lazard advised “the recreational indoor climbing market is growing at pace and we are likely to see it rise in popularity further as climbing makes its debut at the Tokyo Olympics in July.

“We understand that all businesses differ and, where possible, they would like to increase customer capacity. We’ve introduced Prima to fill this void, allowing more of our customers to try out our fresh take on the world of traditional climbing.”

Clip ‘n Climb is at the forefront of the fun climbing industry and is leading the way in research and development to improve customer experience and attract new consumer groups to the Sportainment sector.

Lazard added “at Clip ‘n Climb we strive for excellence and aim to drive forward innovation. We intend to grow our product range further, adopting new technologies that are changing the face of the sector.”
