Body Fit Training announces exponential growth plan with 50 studios set to open in the next three months
November 26, 2020

Body Fit Training has revealed plans to open 50 studios in the next three months, and over 100 studios throughout 2021 as it continues to expand its footprint nationwide and overseas.

Founded in 2017 by Cameron Falloon, former AFL Strength and conditioning coach, Body Fit Training (BFT) is currently the fastest-growing fitness franchise in Australia, with 68 studios open across Australia as well as New Zealand, the USA and Singapore.

Advising that since its launch, BFT has sold 180 franchises and will be opening over 50 studios globally in the next three months, Body Fit Training joint Chief Executive, Richard Burnet stated “we have only seen a very minor franchise sales impact at the start of COVID, but since June we’ve returned to pre-COVID sales levels and easily surpassed these.

“We have now sold over 180 franchises - with 68 open, and the growth of the business is continuing to increase.

“2021 will be significant for us as we plan to open over 100 studios in Australia alone. Additionally, we have very successful flagship studios in New Zealand, Singapore and USA which will allow us to rapidly expand into those markets in particular.”

BFT offers a unique group fitness offering that brings Falloon’s methodology and science behind elite athlete conditioning into the mainstream fitness arena for the weekend warriors. Combining cardio with genuine resistance programs, members benefit from training a different energy system every day, training different muscle fibre types and not overloading on the same movement patterns day-in, day-out.

Falloon states “our unique offering is driving our member demand, and in turn demand from franchisees who understand why we're different from other fitness offerings. Increasingly it’s our true strength training days members are really enjoying. They love the cardio days, but really love the strength difference that BFT brings.

“Our ability to incorporate true strength training is a key point of difference for us and a reason our franchise offer is in such demand right now.

“And we know we are on the right track with our offering when trainers from right across the fitness industry choose to train at BFT.”

BFT uses science and technology to drive positive outcomes - at all fitness levels, with the aim to give every member a personal experience relevant to their own body, level of fitness, limitations and flexibility, in a motivating, team-driven community.

BFT’s joint Chief Executives
Burnet and Falloon are the joint Chief Executives of Body Fit Training, with Falloon a former AFL strength and conditioning coach and high-performance manager and Burnet a former AFL Club commercial executive.

Among the athlete franchise owners in the BFT group are Tim Paine, Nick Riewoldt, Zach Merrett, Dyson Heppell and James and Mitch Aubusson.

BFT takes Falloon’s experience and expertise and applies it to each and every workout, filling a void in the fitness landscape. Those same elite programming methods he has successfully used for over 20 years, are made accessible to anyone at any fitness level.
