Aardman and Spacetoon partner to deliver ‘Shaun the Sheep’ to MENA region
Multi-award-winning independent animation studio Aardman has strategically partnered with Spacetoon, an international media and entertainment conglomerate directed to families to deliver Aardman’s classic IP, Shaun the Sheep, to top-tier entertainment destinations and events in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), such as the Riyadh & Saudi Seasons, Qatar, Bahrain regional toy festivals and Dubai Summer Festival.
The activity aims to drive deeper and wider audience engagement and awareness for the brand. Events will include live shows, activity programmes and character meet and greets.
Aardman is also working with Spacetoon and licensing agent Markettcom, to launch a successful consumer product programme alongside the events.
This new partnership builds on Aardman’s existing portfolio of experiences in the region over the last decade and comes at an exciting time as the studio prepares for the launch of Shaun the Sheep series 7 in 2025. Spacetoon will be launching their first Shaun the Sheep themed activation at Qatar’s Lagoona Mall between 16th-31st January 2025.
