Pico Play is looking for a talented and passionate designer to join its' Malaysian team with the possibility of working on themed attractions and entertainment all over the world.
Description of the role
We are looking for a talented and creative concept artist with fundamental skills in traditional drawing, digital concept art, storyboarding, character design, architectural illustration highly beneficial. Ideally should be able to conceptualise convincing 3D environments showing human activity in lively entertainment spaces (e.g. theme park or attraction perspectives).
Candidate should be able to produce quick sketches through to HIGH QUALITY professional concept art to 'wow' our international clients. Candidate would work with the Creative
Directors, interpret design briefs, participate in brainstorm sessions, be highly motivated and have a passion for his/her artistic craft.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in the Creative/Design fields, with experience in working in a creative team environment.
- High level of fluency with Adobe suite CS a must, PowerPoint, Google SketchUp or other 3d modelling skills beneficial.
- Proven experience in multiple phases of the concept design process, including quick sketching of ideas, high quality concept art, design development and construction detailing
- Good traditional drawing skills and ability to quickly translate ideas into sketches
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and illustrative)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
